I just heard back from Khom. He has stated that the first batch of caps will ship to the US at the end of May. They expect 3 weeks in travel time along with one week of customs processing. He told also referenced that the expected MSRP is $2,900.

Unfortunately for me, Hot Pepper Red will not be in the first shipment as they were not happy with the local color matching. They had to order the paint from Ford. IMO that says a lot about their quality and control. They want to make it right.

I hope my cap makes the second shipping date.

I just emailed Khom and this was the response I received yesterday:

"Thank you for reaching out to us. We expect to have the canopies in stock at our warehouse around end of June. I will have our team contact you in due time.

Should you have any further queries please feel free to contact me."

Looks like the timeline has shifted. I wouldn't be surprised if it continues to shift.

Any updates on this? Last I heard from Khom (mid-May) the first batch was scheduled to arrive at their US warehouse at the end of June.

Unfortunately for me, Factory White won't be in this initial batch...

Im excited to finally share a review in the next few weeks once I have the Maxliner Venture canopy installed.

A little backstory, I had been hunting for a canopy and came across the Maxliner back in July and fell in love with the design. Australia and Thailand get all of the good products imo.

I reached out and was told the canopy was designed for the Thai truck. It turns out the main difference was in the cab design with the 3rd brake light. We agreed that 3D scans could get us the data they needed and would give the opportunity to make design changes prior to SEMA. Both Maxliner and myself got to work and I lined up 3D scans to send their way. The team over there and especially Khom was awesome to work with.

Fast forward and the canopy is at SEMA! I was headed down with guys from my company and had the opportunity to see it in person. I am really impressed with all of their products and blown away with the Venture in person. The lines are perfect, everything serves a purpose.

In a few weeks I should have the canopy on hand and installed. I will be sure to provide a thorough review to all of those interested.
