Looking at swapping out the OEM tires for a set of Michelin Defender LTX M/S or M/S2 and wanted to see if anyone has info on the fit compare to the 255/65/R18.

Would probably be looking at the 255/70/R18 for M/S2 and the 265/65/R18 for M/S.

If anyone has any info it would be much appreciated!

Ive had 3 sets of the LTX M/S on different trucks and loved them. 80000 mile tires and quiet and smooth. The LTX M/Ss are now discontinued. I just tried a set of the defender LTX M/S2 on our Grand Cherokee and I hated them. Stiff riding and noisy. There are more sipes on the outer edges and I think that is causing the drone (noise). Discount tire swapped them out for me to another brand at no charge.
