Greetings!

Expat currently living in the UK. Here’s my American 2025 XLT FX4 3.4L

Haven’t started modding yet - unless a CravenSpeed Stubby counts - partially because of what I’ve read on here.

With so many posts lamenting the lack of aftermarket support for American Rangers, I figure it’s worth identifying British Ranger parts/accessories that would be difficult/impossible to acquire stateside; since it’s effectively their F-150.

Looking to turn it into a “diet” over-landing rig. Nothing too crazy this time, with “lessons-learned” used to go all out on the next truck (though this one will hopefully last a long time).

But this is my first truck so I hope to learn from the more experienced people on here. Might be able to answer some US/UK part compatibility questions as well.

US type license plate?
either the DVLA or Military Auto Sales makes a US-sized plate so I don’t have to worry about the bracket when I take it home! Haha, don’t like posting pictures close to the house, but will concede than I could’ve done better than outside the lodge at Centre Parcs.

I am a little jealous of the UK Rangers though - seen half a dozen up close and the craftsmanship just looks/feels better. I love my XLT but the trim looks like it was done by the muppets!

When I dropped my vehicle off at an airport lot to go on holiday I was watching the guy who had to move my truck to the long term lot. lol, he only figured out it was a keyed ignition after more than five minutes and help from two buddies.

That makes sense. I actually prefer US style plate on that vehicle. In my opinion It looks better then that long rectangular plate.
