So I'm installing my hood wrap this weekend most likely. I have everything I need just trying to get the gumption to do it....my first one but I'm tired of paying $300+ to get a simple wrap installed. Anyway, I was looking at the frontend last night and I think I will try to wrap the lower panel just above the skid plate the same color as the hood. Maybe I'll get the skid plate done in black, but not right now....I moved away from my neighbor with the garage powder coating setup.

You can always give it an attempt yourself and paint the parts. That’s the route I took and it turned out surprisingly well. Almost a dead match at 5+ feet away to the dark argent gray grill & fender flares.
I took the lower valance & skid plate off the truck. Scuffed up with scotch brite pads, degreased, 2 coats of adhesion promoter, and 2 coats of Krylon Fusion in textured black. And the textured is something you feel more than you see. In the sun it looks really close to factory.

Looks Great! I might have to look into that for the skid plate. I'm hoping to get a wrap on that valance that matches the hood.....we'll see. Thanks for the idea!
