I used the original factory clips, and have had no problems as of yet. That's not a bad looking mudflap though, and the main thing is you like them.
Good to know! I still want the ford ones, as I like the logo in the rear flaps. Very low key. I'm sure I'll use my points for them down the road

This is what I have. The sis give me double sided tape but it would not have helped this situation.

It looks like I may have a similar situation if that’s the case. The Softopper already overlaps the tailgate as it is. That may pull on it that much more. It’s already a bit of a pain to close the tailgate - this would add to it.

Awesome feedback and even better offer! I’ll keep on my search…

So installed the musology mudguard and I'm on the fence if I like them..I'll probably order the ford ones too with points and test them down the road, they are very rigid.

Do the ford ones have more flap in them? These are formed, rigid and dont move at all.

Another thing noted is the stock pins do not want to come out any way I tried besides a nice tug, pulling them out. They dont want to unscrew out anyway I tried.. The ones that came with the guards went in good enough.

I just installed the flaps for the Ranger Raptor and seems somewhat similar or maybe even a little more flap than the ones you have in the picture. The ford ones also give you new screws which are 100% better than the stock ones, but I just replaced only the ones that were needed and kept the rest for future.

These things work like a charm:

Shouldn’t need anything but a pop out of the center pin and an effortless pull. No screwing.

Unless the non-Raptor uses screws?

Another option i've came across is Ark splash guards, multiple length options, seems like they extend out alil farther good for lower offset wheels. decently priced. If I hadn't already bought the ford performance ones, id have picked these up.

I have these on all my RRs .

‘I will say though Word of cation for any RR owners thinking of removing their steps. I can say for sure that without the steps these flaps alone will not protect your back fenders.

I also installed the tailgate mat from Triple A. The tailgate mat holes did not align even when stretching the outer top two to fit the holes, the rest of the inner holes do not align :(

Also confirm they need to cut a little bit off the top as it does not fit tonneau covers.

I was sent a free one to test and provided feedback to the company .. let's hope they tweak it.

With that said, if anyone wants to pay for shipping and does not have a tonneau cover, they can have this tailgate mat
