My 2019 ranger saved my life and now I have a 2025

I had a blue 2019 ranger that I used to take off roading and drove all over. One night driving home thankfully by myself, a drunk driver ran a red and T boned me. The truck was totaled and I went on to get a super duty which I hated. Than I got an f150 that I had no attachment to, and even a ram 1500 which wow what a bad truck! But I am happy to report that after 5 years I am back with a 2025!! I was looking at a blue stx which was the exact one I had except a 2025 but it was parked next to a white xlt fx4 that caught my wife’s eye. After sitting in both the blue felt just like my blue one (with updated interior.) but felt like I was stuck in the past, the white one was perfect and has surprisingly a good amount of room in the back seat for a car seat. I’m excited to get back off roading and posting about it.

Congratulations, have you checked to see if the side curtain airbag recall was done?

No I haven’t, I’m dropping it off at the shop on Monday to have a pre collision assist light checked on it so I’ll ask! Thank you!

FYI the recall is a “stop sale” thing, dealers cannot legally sell a brand new truck with an open safety recall, but that has actually happened…. for used trucks it isn’t required.
