whoa!! dude, thats crazy. everything is alright now though? i know thats crazy and life changing because i was headed that way too. my doc caught the signs and we course corrected and so far, so good.

luckily you are still here to talk about it. you can share with people and maybe some people will see similarities in their lives and can make adjustments before they have the same thing happen
Yeah, things are good, I hope! Haha.

There is a quiet elegance to your truck.
It is very similar to the Lariat 2.7L 4X4 that I've ordered.
And, I have a list of mods that is virtually the same as yours as well.... "great minds"
I hope my truck ends up as classy looking as yours.

Q: Did you have any challenges with the fit & installation of the AMP Research PowerStep Vision Running Boards?
The word I received (via email) from RealTruck was that "They do NOT fit the 2026 and there is no release date for the 2026 AMP steps yet."
Does the step controller work well... light color options, automatic extension & retract, etc.?

An awesome truck! Thanks for sharing.

Ive been curious around those fender flares for a while and never saw them installed on a Ranger. They look really good. I'm running +25 offset too and am considering those. Do you still get slop all over the side of your truck, or do those help keep things cleaner? Right now Im just running flaps.

Thank you! Sometimes less is more if you know what I mean. I can't believe the boards don't fit a 26! Did they change the BCM? Physically I'm sure they will fit. There's a plug that plugs in the OBD port and you have to tap 1 wire under the left kick panel. The instructions were very vague making the install harder than it had to be but doable. The lights have a blue tint to them by default. The strip is RGB so just shift the app color a little to the green and you will get white if that's the color you want. The accent light color you're SOL. I already bought some replacement white lights for those. I don't like the blue lights clashing with the white strip. So far the boards work very well. The app is a little querky at first but it's working well. 2 other gripes I had was a small scrape on one of the boards at delivery. The box was mint so I think it was shipped that way. Also my ODB plug was DOA out the box. They sent me a new one but I had to wait a week to get it.

I haven't been in any messy situations yet with the new tires. Just installed them Friday. These flares have integrated mud flaps so I think they should perform well

Truck looks really good and everything seems proportioned right šŸ‘

A couple of questions about the Husky flares. Did you install them yourself? If so, was it a pretty easy install and did it require any drilling or new hardware? Did you end up using the factory fender marker light to power the front Husky light? I assume you tapped into the taillights somewhere to power the rears?

I'm looking at a bumper that'd require cutting the front fenders through the light and these are the only fender flares I've seen that don't have a light there (other than the Australian market trucks).

Thanks, I did install them myself. No drilling but I could not get the front 2nd hole in the front flares to line up on either side. It was off by a good bit. I just skipped them and they seem fine without so I haven't messed with them. The lights were kinda a strange deal. I was installing the running boards at the same time so rather then hassle with the front marker lights that were really hard to get to, while underneath I tapped the rear tail light on the right side and ran the wire to both markers on that side. On the left side I had a trailer wire converter installed already off the rear tail light to properly run the triple LED tailgate light bar so I just tapped that. Then I noticed the left side marker lights were twice as bright as the really dim right side. So I ran a line to the right side as well to get those brighter. Someone else on here said his markers were not that bright so I told him about it. So just a heads up if you do the install yourself and your lights seem dim. It seems the markers like a lot of juice to shine.

Thanks, the lugs got a little scuffed tightening them up, even without an impact gun but not too bad. They were cheap so if they get rough I'll just buy some more.

Did you relocate the front parking sensor onto the new flare? How hard was that to do? I’m pretty set on getting these but seems like a bunch of nuance to consider between the parking sensors and the lights. Might not even bother with the rear markers.

There wasn't any sensors on my fenders, just lights.

@Lord Vader looking sick!

Hows the ride and noise on those tires?

I’m thinking about getting them in 285/70/R17 for my WildTrak that will be on pavement 95% of the time.

Do they look ā€˜aggressive’ enough for you in person?
