2024 Ford Ranger XLT 2.7 liter
My 2019 Ranger XLT got totaled out when an F-250 t-boned it. My kid was driving and she walked away with a couple bruises, but that's it.
Insurance settlement in bank yesterday.
Spent a few days looking for a replacement, and settled on this truck that just happened to be at my Ford dealership 3 miles away (small town)
Cactus Gray 2.7L Ecobeast, XLT, Adv Tech/Adv Towing pkg, FX4 pkg
First planned upgrades are a retractable tonneau cover and either a spray-in bedliner, or a cargo tray.
Then a bumper and winch and an overland rack, and then I'll start looking at suspension lifts.

Great looking truck! I'm glad your daughter is ok. I almost got that color, I liked it so much. Welcome to the 2.7 club, lol.

If you find a good hard trifold tonneau cover for yours, let me know. I'm looking for one too.

I looked around, and I ended up trading Fordpass points for a hard roll-up tonneau cover that should be at the dealer's in a couple weeks probably. I had enough points to get it for free.
Daughter was banged up a bit but more pissed off than anything, which yeah, she's my kid alright.

Congrats on your new Ranger! Can't wait to see your upgrade plans come to life!
I'm looking at your site almost daily. The tonneau cover I bought from Ford with FordPass points, but there's a lot of other stuff that needs doing.

Here's what I did with my day off: New Tonneau cover and new cargo management rails.. And new skinned knuckles. And new backache.

Who made those rails and tie-downs points? My former Frontier had a similar set up (OEM) that was pretty handy.

I don't know who made them, but I got them from Ford Accessories. As you say, similar ones are available for Nissan products, so I'm ASSUMING it's the same thing.

Good enough. Thanks. When the time comes, I'll be sure to add them at the Ranger purchase time.

Beautiful truck. Thanks for posting the additional photos. I can’t believe they are removing this color from 2025. One of the best colors on the road. Now I have to either find the spec I want from 2024 inventory or pick another color for 2025.
Yeah it's pretty crazy. There was a greenish brown that looked kinda cool for 2025 but I haven't seen it in person.
