My "New" (?) RR came loaded with debris, corrosion, rust..

[1996-to-2025]

Mine had 10 miles. Purchased in Denver in late April, built in early March. It was pristine underneath except for two very small surface rust spots on the frame. I sprayed those with CRC 06026 Heavy Duty Corrosion Inhibitor. I also wiped down my drive shafts with the same.

I received mine with 21 miles on the odometer. I did the first oil change at 100 miles. The skid plate was filled with gritty sand. It defibrillator l definitely wasn't from me driving it around town. Lots of the aluminum parts under, like the steering rack, control arms have a heavy dried calcium type crust one them. I even see some on the front engine area.

Sounds exactly like mine.

Hello, I purchased a new 2025 Ranger Raptor about a month ago. Found rust on the drive shaft and front axles. A buddy of mine works at a shop that restores vehicles. I had him address the issue and I am very happy with the results. Could not stand the thought of a new car rusting underneath me.

I'm honestly not sure. I know his company does this type of thing regularly. I debated about having him remove the rust and clear coat it. But that would have involved more labor to get it perfect. I'm happy with it.
