Nice! Yea we've been down there too of course but find KDH and Carova, when we beach drive, a little more convenient. We're closer, and can and do, make day trips if we like. Do you like pinball? I'm asking because one of the biggest pinball machine collections in the Mid-Atlantic region is in Grandy N.C. on the way down to the OBX. Sometimes the wife and I drive down just to play for a few hours and then head home.

We are usually on a mission to reach the islands so don't usually stop too much, though we have occasionally stopped at Digger's Dungeon, home to Gravedigger. (Not us, just a YouTube vid)

But dang, Flippers is impressive! We've probably stopped there for gas and never realized what was there.

Thank you! No it's carbonized gray like yours. Gray is my favorite color on most things, actually. I didn't even know that the RR was out there until I saw a video on YT comparing the TRD PRO/Trail Hunter, the Trail Boss and the Raptor. After months of researching the first two, I concentrated on just the Raptor and was hooked. I was REALLY happy to know that 25 was the truck's second year in the US and had been available overseas for a couple of years prior to that. I do not like buying the first year of any new vehicle generation.

BTW, It is a well known fact, carbonized metallic grey is the F A S T E S T color!!! Bet thr raptor is a blast in sand. Last truck I owned in Texas would get stuck if it even saw sand

We used to stop at Digger's Garage when the kids were young. Been there a few times over the years. Not advertising, but yea, Flippers is a great place, and the games are reasonably priced too. The owner is a nice dude, and always buys the new machines from Stern, Jersey Jack, etc. as they come out. He maintains them well too; even most of the older machines play well. I try to recommend it to folks because it's simply a fun place to visit, and like you, most people do not know it's there unless they're into pinball. When they do stop they're like whoa this is cool! There's lots of other games there for kids too, so its a great family spot. We'll be going down to KDH the end of May for a few days and of course we'll play on the way down and on the way home too for a few hours.

HAHA I hear ya. It's certainly faster than the Wrangler Rubicon I owned. It was great in the sand though. I'm sure the Raptor will be just a good. I must say though that it is really nice to be strapped into something with some power again. I had to learn patience in traffic after owning muscle cars before it.

Yeah, I prefer "Woods and Waters Green" to "Jail Cell Gray"! LOL! Actually my second color choice would have been CGM or Azure Gray.

I liked the green but got allot better deal on the "jail house grey" as it was a new 2025. Even more important, my wife picked it over the "woods and water green" lol, I like your sense of humor.
