Been retired for a couple years, so my tech skills have not kept pace with the world in general. I just took delivery of my truck (2026 RR) and after a couple of weeks I discovered that there are a few things I want changed with Forscan. I can get one of my sons to do it for me if I can steer them in the right direction instruction-wise. I don't want to try it myself, I botched up the simple task of registering a user name. I typed in "Thirc" instead of "Third" so there's that. It won't be easily deciphered though.

Anyways, I would like them to program a stick-on keyless entry pad (rather than deal with the inconvenience and cost of taking it to a dealer) and also see if they can modify the dash display to show the actual engine temp, oil pressure, and transmission temp under the gages. I'm not interested in any off-road enhancements or hard-core additions, just practical stuff. I scanned the 70-some pages of chat and, as I would expect, didn't find anything that made sense to me. I would appreciate any assistance from a sympathetic fellow member like I was able to do on sites related to my previous Ford trucks and SUVs. Thanks in advance for any help.

IIRC the keypad cannot be activated using the Forscan tool, you have to have Ford dealer do it they have a special programming tool, also there's a Forscan forum you can check out for tips n tricks.

Go on YouTube and google Ranger Raptor Forscan. Lots of easy to follow videos. I just added to actual temps to all my gauges and tire temperature, door chimes gone and the annoying seatbelts “ok” screen at start up.

I don’t believe programming the keypad is possible using forscan. Must be done using dealer FDRS equipment. That said, they only charge $55 to do it.

i found they keypad on eBay and had a local dealer who offers mobile service to come to my house and do the programming. Took 10 minutes.

I’d like to add the matrix headlights and disable the seatbelts okay screen in my 2025 RR Do you remember what those options in Forscan are called or can you point me to a specific video?
