We’ve had a ton of requests for this one, and we’re pumped to finally share it. This is a simple, rock-solid home for your MAXTRAX traction boards — easy to reach, doesn’t eat up bed space, and keeps them locked down instead of flopping around back there.

The design comes straight from our proven MAXTRAX mount for the Ranger Bed Rack RAILS. It uses the factory MAXTRAX pins, so mounting is quick and secure.

These will be live on our site later tonight, and because of the straightforward design, they’ll come in at a pretty friendly price point. This is just the start of how we’re accessorizing our Ford Ranger Bed MOLLE Panels — our goal is to keep solving problems and making gear that works for real use in the field.

Right now, this version is built around the MAXTRAX mounting pattern (and boards that share it). But we’re actively exploring a more universal “tray” that could hold other traction boards. If you’re running something other than MAXTRAX, drop a reply. If enough people speak up, we’ll make it happen.

We’re in the market to solve problems, not just sell parts — and this is one more step in that direction.

I started with steel runway pieces, and eventually moved to aluminum variants to save weight.

I haven't often used Maxtrax products, and I've never personally owned any, but the next traction aids I get will be theirs. It's time to update, at this point.

I wasn't super impressed, at first, in relation to traditional bridging ladders and aluminum, but I've seen some people do interesting things with Maxtrax products over the past few years.

It's nice to see you make a mounting solution.

Thanks! We don't use them often either, but they're a foolproof, lightweight (relatively) device that is priceless when you need it. They also work well in lieu of stacking rocks to get over obstacles.

We have them on sale for a few more hours (ends at midnight MST) - https://americanadventurelab.com/product/maxtrax-mkii-recovery-boards/

Will the bulkhead MOLLE panel work if I am running the modular bed liner (Ford part #: R1WZ2600038A)? From what I can tell it may mount to where the front bed tie downs are which in my case is recessed behind the bed liner and not sitting flush. Would love to mount my MAXTRAX boards up front with these mounting brackets. See attached photo.

The Bulkhead MOLLE Panel needs to bolt directly to the bed with nothing in between. I'm not sure what it would do to the side panels of your bed liner to have our Bulkhead Panel installed, but you definitely would not be able to run the bulkhead panel from the bed liner. I doubt the side panels from the bed liner would be affected at all by having the tie down hooks pushed out a little. From looking at the photo here, it looks like it may work well to just leave the front panel off from the bed liner and use our Bulkhead MOLLE instead.

From what I can find online, the MAXTRAX dimensions are the same as the Tred Pro's, but you will need to use Tred Pro-specific mounting pins as the MAXTRAX pins are too short. I don't have any Tred Pro's here to verify, though.
