NHTSA recall for APIM software update to address backup camera glitches

Apologies if this already got posted somewhere, but just came across this today. Says some 2024 Rangers are among those affected.

My mom had this recall on her Escape. She called the local dealer to make an appointment, they said, No need. We'll come to you. They went to her house and did the reprogramming.

Suppose to be over the air update so it will do itself if you have auto updates turned on.

That's good to know. My mom is stuck on iPhone 6 and doesn't want any of 'those fancy apps'.
