No Owner's Manual available 2024 Ranger

I just completed a chat with Ford. Apparently the Owner's Manual for my new 2024 Ranger is not available via the Ford Pass App or via their website.

Always thought a printed owners manual was a requirement from the factory. Maybe your dealer misplaced it. I would really question the dealer on that.

A few years back, the NHTSA changed their rules and allow a "Consolidated Owners Manual" paper copy to be required and not a full blown owners manual. There is specific FMVSS sections of what has to be in that vehicle Consolidated Owners Manual but it is very truncated info.

To those considering a new RR, suggest, as part of your dealings, insist the dealer provide a printed copy of the Owner's Manual. Like others, I purchased a printed copy on ebay, ~$50. 650 pages. A real tome. Thing would be a pamphlet without the safety/seatbelt/child seat information. Be better if that was in a separate booklet.

I'm still waiting. Ordered 9/28/23. It's supposed to be delivered next week but the tracker says still in production, since 3/4/24.

Update 7/24/24: Just received notification that my truck was built on 7/23/24.
