No start up animation on 26 RR

Hey there, I am new to the forum and I am trying to find some information on startup animation disappeared from my 2026 Ranger raptor instrument cluster. When I opened the door the infotainment shows ford performance, but the cluster only shows a lighter blue back light or whatever.

Same for me with my brand new 2026 Raptor.

No speedo or tach and no gauges? I’d take it to the dealer. Have you played with the settings? Or is it just the start up animation that’s missing?

I do have the Speedo it just skips the animation altogether and goes straight to the speedo. But everything seems to be working fine, just no animation. I did take it to the dealer and they looked at me like I had three heads the service rider says he’s doing some research.

Hmmm. At least your cluster is working. Have you changed drive modes to see if the animation changes scenes and color as you switch?

Yes everything is working
Just start up animation on the cluster only is missing

Mine is a 25. I wonder how many other 26 owners have the same issue? I wouldn’t think they’d change the software between the two years but ya never know.

At the dealership today, I had them try another 26 Ranger raptor and the same thing. The animation only happens on the infotainment and it totally skips the cluster and it goes straight to the speedometer. It’s very weird, but like I said, everything works fine. The settings, the R button, everything works fine. Just no GD animation

Must be something they changed with the 26. Sounds like it might be across the board with that model year, or a run of that model year at least. Maybe others with a 26 can Chime in. Don’t sound like you have a problem with operation though and that’s a good thing.

Indeed, no issues
And there is very little info online
I will have my first oil change here in a few weeks, and I am going to leave the truck at the dealership so that they can plug it in and run some diagnostics. and I will post the results as soon as I know something I am starting to think this might be a glitch and ford has not configured the clusters on some of these trucks, but this is just a hypothesis

Pretty sure I remember reading that the startup splash can be turned off with forscan. I considered doing that, the novelty wore off 2 trucks ago....
So I would think it should be possible to turn it on, either with the dealer software or with forscan.

People at the Dealership are lacking knowledge on this subject so will see what they come up with
I love the truck either way

Are you referring to the built Ford tough splash? My 26 RR does not display that either, it just goes to the speedo and regular instruments. I do get the Ford Performance Raptor splash on the infotainment screen.

Yes I am referring to the one on the cluster

Have you checked to see if is set to calm screen?
