Turn them on when they are straight up turn the engine off. They will stay and then lift them up like I have mine. Remember to put them back down before you start it normally. If you remote start it nothing will happen as there isn't full power to everything until you use key/start button.
Good to know about the remote start, probably wouldn’t have given it a thought

Another 18 inches at the folk's house in south Jersey overnight into today. Drove down to find the area not plowed yet. Raptor and the BFG KO3s ate it up. Backed up into a neighbor's driveway expecting the plows to come through eventually.

At the risk of sounding like a killjoy, I live in Southern California during the winter months. I like living in a place where the snow doesn't come to me -- if I want it, must go to where the snow is.. LOL
(I lived 6 years in Wisconsin, where, the first year, we were covered in snow from before Thanksgiving until after Easter, 101 inches that first year, yikes.) 🥶
