Just noticed this when I watched one of the videos on the desert truck that ran the Baja 1000 and Tatts Finke:

Right behind the guys head, notice the big cutout for the hood vents? Likely to enhance cooling under race conditions. If anyone ever turns the truck into something other than a UTV and wants a more ture Baja purist truck to push the limits, that might be a good option for enhancing air flow through the radiator and IC.

It works great. Had mine like that a while. Cut out the hood vents....make them more functional. You have to say heat extractors or you get in trouble. Under the insulation, the tape, the foam, and a thin film, there are a few tiny holes that extract heat.
