Question-Do the Ford Rangers come with a PTC Supplemental Heater? It's an electric ceramic heating element built into the HVAC system which is meant to provide heat before the engine coolant is warm enough to provide a heat source. I live near the Canadian border in a cold place and have noticed that when I drive about 3/4ths of a mile the heater is starting to blow warm air which is way sooner than any other vehicle I have had. I have noticed that the Supplemental PTC Heater is shown on the window sticker as a No Charge option on some of the Bronco Sports that I have been looking at and while it is not shown on the Window Sticker for my Ranger it seems very unusual that I'm getting heat so quickly.

No.
But if you have a 2.3L Ranger then the reason probably has to do with the exhaust “headifold”.
This engine doesn’t use an exhaust manifold. The head itself flows all 4 chambers into 1 and the turbo bolts directly to it.
They placed coolant channels between each of those exhausts runners to help cool exhaust gases and also get the coolant up to temp faster.

There is no pre-heater or a need for one.
On the 2.7, the exhaust manifold is integral with the cylinder head. The heat from the exhaust transfers directly to the coolant passages in the cylinder head. This results in a quicker warm up to operating temperature. The 2.3 is likely to have the same setup.
Fords have the best HVAC systems of all the brands I've owned.

You're not kidding - even in a hot aussie summer, I've never had to use a fan speed of more than 2 (temp set at 22.5c all year round).. and even then it's not on 2 for long before dropping back down to 1. By far the best performing and fastest performing HVAC system in all the cars I've ever owned

All my previous Fords had super cold AC, but the heat sucked. 6G Ranger heats up quick because of the reasons stated, but still no AC to rear seats.

There are ducts under the front seats that direct air to the rear passenger area.
I have a car that has diffusers at the back of the console. The ducting from the HVAC unit is so convoluted that not much cold air comes out. The under seat ducts are far more efficient at moving air.
