Puddle lights on XLT

Hello, i saw a couple post about adding puddles light on the XLT trim and i was wondering why i have a XLT from factory with the puddle lights if its not an option. Not complaining about it but i was curious to know why i have them when its not supposed to.

Yours has the option, and other do not. my 25 xlt never came with heated mirrors. so also no mirror turn signals, or puddle lights. the truck is prewired to the mirror plug . I added heated mirrors, and the wiring inside the mirror.

If mine had the heated mirror option, I would of gotten heat, puddle and turn signals.(they removed the mirror turns from the 26 and up rangers.)

What year is your truck, might have come in one of the packages. I know my Lariat has them standard.
