Ranger Raptor faulty engine?

Aren't the US engines the same as the Australian ones?

Makes sense, some of these were built after Ford got a new/additional supplier for the valves. The newer engines use a different supplier, and do not suffer from poor heat treatment/different alloy, which made the valves brittle/prone to cracking.

Could be a problem, but seems to be relatively isolated. Who knows what will change for the US build.

Everything I see while searching the web says all the 3.0L V6 Ecoboosts are built in the US. If so then technically it’s a US build problem already. And if true how many of the undelivered Ranger Raptors may potentially have this problem? If anyone knows of the 3.0 Ecoboost being built anywhere else please chime in.

Raptors (3.0 v6 ecoboosts ) are built in thailand for the Aus / Europe / Asia markets. No idea about US market...

Thanks but Ranger Raptors are assembled in Thailand. No engines or transmissions are produced there.

My 2024 US Ranger Raptor was assembled in Michigan and the powertrain is built in the US as well.

So far they identified 12 Ranger Raptors in that overseas market.
Hopefully we will not see the same isolated problem.
At least it is not the Tundra problem, where basically all the engines will need to be replaced, I think.
