I just got mine. It’s N1WZ-17A385-K. It has two hook features that fit into two slots at the top and two bottom legs with slotted holes that line up with two captive nuts in the bumper. It comes with the M6 bolts. it took about 5 minutes to install.

I took it off my 2017 F150 Raptor when I traded it in back in 2020.

I just dont run the front plate on my cars. I'm in a 2 plate state, but the police dont pull people over for it.
^ This. I havent run a front plate in over 25 years. Also, I never understood why people buy a whole new front plate mount that mounts somewhere other than factory(free) center. Youre still putting your plate on the front. On the left or right or wherever doesnt look any better.

For modified cars, you do it to stop the blocking of air into the intake and such. For stock cars, not every car has a mounting point, some have to be drilled and are drilled at the dealer. My partners hrv was drilled, as the replacement bumper we put on when their dad backed into it, did not have the holes there.

If your car is one you need to drill, getting an actual mount is generally preferred for obvious reasons. I just wish we would move to skinnier license plates like in europe and it would solve a lot of the cosmetic and physical issues with the front plate. Also if you mount bars or stuff on the front, you generally have to move it as well.

This is my first truck, but if Im putting bars and other stuff on the front, I dont see where you would still put a plate.

Regarding modified cars, why still put a plate??? Its a modified car, youre already doing stuff to it to make it faster. Ive never seen a front(center) factory license place block any modifications. Usually its on the bumper and most intakes are to the side. Most plates dont block upgraded intercoolers either.

Some states require the front plate, you cant just not run it. As far as where you mount things. Air intakes will be in the engine bay, wheel well, or the front headline in some extreme cases. All the radiators and intercoolers are mounted in the front (I said intake before, meant intercooler). Mounting the front plate in the center in the images below would be an issue.

well, I do like the way it looks not right smack in the middle of the grill......so I ordered the one that comes up when you click "ford Ranger"

https://swarfworks.com/2010-2023-ford-raptor-front-license-plate-relocation/

but then it gives you color options....and I chose this one.. SW-LPMG3-A01b-BST

I asked for confirmation that it fits a RANGER RAPTOR when I placed the order.....we'll see if they reply or just ship it......hopefully it works and not ending up being a heavy paperweight

Ok, I live in a state that requires a front plate and I havent run one in 25 years. Also, your two images of cars running upgraded intercoolers arent even running front plates!!!! My point exactly. Also, its definitely a Subaru thing to run a side tow-hook mounted plate even on a stock vehicle.

Either way, its all semantics. Run what you want. Im just saying, paying for another mount when the stock one is free is stupid. Just put it in your window or dont mount it at all.

@HyperM3 wow, why so hostile in your reply ? to each their own.....if someone wants to run a different license plate mount then who cares?.....you said "paying for another mount when the stock one is free is stupid"....I could same the same thing about your fugly bronze rims "why pay for aftermarket rims when the stock ones are free".....we'll all allowed to "mods" our trucks the way we see fit......chill out and have fun and be productive......I'm hating this 6G forum already!!...the 5g forum was MUCH nicer!!

and yes, I never ran a front plate on my Porsche I just sold.....never got pulled over but then again it was a much nicer car and didn't want to drill holes and was willing to risk it.......but this truck I want to run a front plate...just not the stock one...

Yeah youre right. I apologize for the way I responded. You do whatever you want with your truck and your license plate.

The second image has a plate delete. The convo was illustrating why people might not want to mount it in the center. People are gonna do what they want lol, I wasnt argueing any of that.
