If ford would just add a very dark tan or tobacco brown interior with matching armrests . I would bet it would really boost sales big time , over their offering.

We would need a Platinum trim to accompany. One can dream lol

The quirks are pretty funny with the Platinum. No Raptor taillights. Only black interiors.

But did you notice the rear tailgate had rubber gaskets sealing the bed?

Rear AC vents, vented seats, 4 auto, outfitter switches.

Very neat.

The tailgate seals I had not noticed those. Good catch.

Also was not sure which taillights it got, would have thought it would have gotten the Raptors taillights. All premium Rangers should have the Raptor tail lights in my opinion.

Either Ford would be really rich or broke if we were in charge. I think the former considering how bad Farley is doing. Worst EVs of basically any brand. GM is killing it with their EVs.

And they need to definitely do some media promotions of the new I4 engine improvements. Because this is why I purchased my Ford Ranger .
And a lowered STX Ranger for the old guys , that are tired of climbing up into a high truck would also increase sales.

Ford should promote the fact that the 2025 2.3 is a Mustang engine. I had to floor my Ranger today after making an unprotected right-hand turn. That turbo will really move when you ask it to. Now, and XL Ranger is hardly a sport truck, but it’s a terrific engine that is very well-paired to the vehicle. Punches above its weight for sure.

put a rear sway bar on and lower it a little and it becomes a sporty truck
