My 2007 F-150 has the rubber floor and it has been great. My German Shepherd travel buddy is a shedding machine, super easy to just vacuum up all the hair from the rubber floor (not so much in my wife's carpeted Subaru). My R2 should be delivered within a week and I'm considering pulling the carpet and replacing it with Rhino Lining.

Anyone know how difficult it is to take the carpet and the seats out? Guessing the carpet is glued down. How big of a PITA is it to get out? I'm sure the seats are bolted to the floor and hoping there are quick disconnects for the electrical wiring. Thanks

You would probably be better off replacing the carpet with the vinyl flooring that is optional on an XL.

Hadn't considered that, thanks. I assume that is the same type floor in my F-150. I'll have to talk to my dealer (my wallet hurts just thinking about that conversation).

I don't believe the carpet is glued anywhere. It's formed into the final shape and all the side trim and seats and center console hold it down. That's where the problem is. There's a lot of stuff to be removed.

Great choice on traveling companion - Once you own a GSD there is no other dog. Still miss him 💕

Agreed, we were both much younger here, sure do miss her, could make a new dog every day from the hair she shed, lol

My guy can't wait to cover the inside of a new truck with hair! Now I just need them to ship the truck...
