All,
Took my 24' Lariat FX4 on a short road trip this summer. When I left my truck had just a little more than 2k miles on it. When I finished it was a little over 8200 miles. I averaged 24.5 mpg for the trip. The high temp I hit was 113° in central Texas and a low of 49° in Cody, WY. I had altitudes from sea level to over 10,000ft. Average speed on the highways was 80ish. The whole trip was 39 total days and I covered quite a few states. Throughout the trip the truck performed flawlessly. I did stop in Amarillo for an oil change at one of the Ford dealerships.
