Rough Country U-bolts

I’m going to install 1.5 inch lift blocks on the leaf spring on my 24 ford ranger. Doing some research I found that ubolts for axles should be no less then a grade 5 steel but better using a grade 8 steel for off-road fun. I ordered a set of ubolts from rough country. Does anyone know what steel grade rough country’s u-bolts are? I ask them directly they couldn’t tell me. Also, would anybody know the alignment pin size for the lift blocks leaf spring to the axle?

The pin size is smaller than previous Rangers I think but I could measure the OEM driver side lift block hole and give you a close estimate if needed, I just know I had to grind down the pin on 3/4" blocks which was max with stock bolts but even that was pushing it close

Yes! That would be extremely helpful if you could provide me with those measurements. I ordered the blocks from Real Truck, and the pins on these are 1/2 inch.

Yes I think your ok the All Star performance blocks I fitted were claimed as 9/16" and 5/8" pin diameter and I definitely needed to machine them down to fit based on either claims, I don't remember which was accurate for the AS blocks. I would say 3/4" is maximum for OEM hardware. The aftermarket block I used and OEM driver block with dimensions are pictured for reference. I think I was going to make or have made blocks based on the measurements at one point but it would have been a lot for one pair. The center hole diameter on shown OEM block is ~3/4" diameter and features a locating nub as well shown
