The compressor and all tools required to manage tire pressures fits in a saddlebag liner.
The valve caps were long pointed types that I cut to just poke out enough to grab. The Lock N flate air chuck reaches in and clamps hard on the valve - no leaks.
I can just leave the fitting open to deflate, snap on the gauge to adjust, attach the valve end to adjust at a service station, attach my compressor at the beach/wherever. I tried two different valve extenders and they either leaked or unscrewed when trying to remove the caps to adjust.
The locking air chuck is the most important part of this set-up ---

I have used these for years more for quick access to checking pressure and a little durable then a plastic cap. Just added to my Ranger with Ford Beedlocks.

The two styles I tried - the first ones seemed fine, until leaving a party that night and having a flat tire - from a faulty valve extender. The second set - the supplied plastic caps would not thread on - no way. I tried the OEM plastic caps which went on, but the entire unit would come off when want to check/add air - PITA.
Now - new issue - the aluminum caps I replaced the plastic ones with --- one of them welded itself to the stem. It wasn't coming off no-how. I had to remove the tire (heavy mo-fo), grab the stem from behind, ratchet it off. Winter/salt/dirt/aluminum on brass -- I should have known better. The OEM caps are back on now. A 10mm socket will grab the plastic caps just fine. Lesson learned ---
