Satellite radio antenna (re)location?

I thought the satellite antenna was in the pod on the dash (where the ambient light sensor is). After installing the tent, I'm guessing it's in the shark fin since I'm losing signal driving north-bound. Anyone relocate the satellite antenna elsewhere on their truck, or have the wiring diagram to the shark fin/radio so I can splice in a new antenna? I have great tunes on the phone, but SXM is nice on long road trips when I want to change things up.

but yes, that shark fin is siriusxm antenna.

on my previous truck, that antenna was on the front, just above the driver visor on the outside. you will see lots of vehicles have a black plastic circle there and thats where theirs is, too
