I'm doing a lot of highway in my RR, getting 18.7 mpg and info center usually shows 380 to right at 400 miles per tankful.
I drive a lot on country back roads where speeds and flow is similar to highway driving so this is assuring news. I could live with 380-400!

I've taken a negative progression unfortunately. I once owned a Grand Cherokee with a hefty fuel tank and got 22-24 mpg so I was used to 450-500 miles of range. Then I got my Lexus which gets 23-25 mpg and roughly 300-350 of range. Im not sure why I'm so hung up on this as I don't care how much I spend at the pump. I think I just dread filling up weekly and I think sub 300 range is abysmal for my daily driving purposes.

Took my RRaptor 7 months to be built after I ordered it. If your dealer doesn't truly have an allocation, move on because they aren't getting one built for them.
I ordered April 28th and still no build date. I asked them twice about the allocation and while they assured me the order would get picked up by ford they never confirmed the allocation. I'm guessing they don't have one after all this waiting. At this point I'm not really in any rush so it's working to my advantage but this dealer experience left a bad taste in my mouth.

I'm actively looking around to see if I can find what I'm looking for but so far no luck. Just a sea of Marsh Gray and Shadow Black...

What color are you looking to get?

Oxford white was my order and first choice. I also would not be opposed to velocity blue, carbonized gray metallic, azure gray.
You should not have an issue finding one in a color you want. I started out looking for Azure Gray but went with Desert Sand. I found mine on a dealership lot in Minnesota. I got tired of waiting for mine to be built, ordered in November still no allocation.
I found mine using cars.com. I got emails everyday with updates for Raptors. Saw mine on the lot of a dealership in Sleepy Eye, MN. Got it bought the next day had it shipped to me here in Texas.
It is much easier dealing for a unit on the dealer's lot than one in transit.
Something I learned is that Ford changed it's allocation system for 2025 model year. Smaller tiered dealers are being prioritized over their larger competitors. Also Ford went from zone allocation model to statewide allocation model.
I found the dealerships in smaller rural locations aren't price gouging for the most part and a better shot at getting what you want without all the high pressure sales tactics.

That allocation model would explain why my order is sitting collecting dust in the order bank. I went with a larger dealer purely based in proximity to me. I’ll keep actively searching and hopefully find the one I want soon.

I have never purchased from out of state. To those of you who have, how do the registration/state taxes aspects of the transaction work?

Texas makes titling easy. The out of state dealership sends you the paperwork with the Manufacturers Certificate of Origin which you take to your DMV/tax office depending on your state after getting proof of insurance and in my area a State Emissions inspection. You pay your state taxes and registration. I was issued plates immediately. You can check with your state tax office to see the process and any forms you may need. I needed a completed application for title form filed out, abbreviations were listed on the web site which made filling out the form much easier along with line by line instructions.
How this helps. Nothing to be scared of, the staff at the tax office was very helpful.

^^This. Dealerships are good at this, not even a concern if you're out of state.
