Shift knob lights don’t work

I just noticed my shift knob lights aren’t lighting up. PRNDM lights (see photo). Truck is pretty new but I swear these used to light up? Is this a blown fuse? Anyone know which fuse? Or something else?

They just look like labels to me - they don’t look backlit at all

First time I’m seeing this style of shifter so I could be wrong. But I would guess that you don’t have backlit lights

I asked the exact same thing when I first picked up my truck. I thought it was inop somehow and there was no way Ford forgot to light them up.. But was told that is the way it is ;-(

I guess I’m glad I didn’t blow a fuse, but it’s super dark in there and kind of counterintuitive to look at the screen when I’m shifting into reverse. I swear they used to light up - but my mind must be playing tricks on me. Thanks

Mine only light up when the marker or head lights are on. I went thru that same grief before. finally figured it out. Yours may be different.

Only the short E-shifter in Lariat and Raptor light up.
