Waiting now for a set of the signature Lux Fog Lamps White 6K to be deliver from Australia. Ought to have them by the end of next week. I’ll post the install and improvement over the OEM’s.

They've got a CF steering wheel for a very reasonable price I may just purchase as well. We’ll see how it goes with this order.👍🇺🇸

A little preview of the Fogs. According to the manufacture, they spent consider time on the brackets for the new generation Ranger Raptor, so they would fit well and allow for adjustment.

As they explained to me; they have a high beam/low beam and is as easy as pressing the button of existing fog lights switch. By default it will be low, press again it turns off and press again high beam. No extra wiring required.

I’m really looking forward to fitting them. As shown on their website video, they’re bright enough to drive with without the use of the headlights.👍🇺🇸

This is their front grill lights for $83.00. They offer white and amber. Going to add these as well.

Any idea if they can be wired so that the factory fog light switch always turns them on to “low” and then an upfitter switch can activate “high”?

This brings up the same questions as the other thread on these lights.
Will they cycle through there settings every time they are turned off via high beam or will they retain their last setting?

I have no idea if they can be wired thru up-fitter switch but anything is possible for a resourceful individual. Personally, cycling thru the fog lamp switch is sufficient and I see no reason to tamper with a well functioning aftermarket system as designed.

To recap from above; They‘re on low when they‘re turned on every time, as explained above. You must manually cycle thru the fog lamp switch to turn them to high. To override the factory fog off/on high beam, you have to utilize either the 4D Tech reprogrammer or the Forscan.

The OEM high beam and fog lamp function, is not controlled by the fog lamps/switch but the CANBUS system, ECU and BCM. This must be reprogrammed to work as suggested.👍🇺🇸

I Think we might be misunderstanding one another.

These aftermarket fog lights seems to have some sort of chip in them. Similar to some flashlights, every time they receive power they toggle between low and high beam. (Just the fogs, not talking about the OEM truck lights right now)
So if you were to sit in the truck and press the fog light switch repeatedly, the following would happen:
Off, low, off, high, off, low, off, high.

Say you were driving at night with your fogs on low, and arrived at your destination. When you shut the truck off the fogs will obviously shut off. Because of this auto toggle function when you start the truck the next morning these fogs would automatically turn on on high.

What I think you're referring to is what's called "bambi mode" in Forscan and enables the truck to leave the fog lights on when you toggle your normal headlights between low beam and high beam. I'm just talking about these fog units right now. Not the truck headlights.

What I would want from these fogs is to always power onto their low setting when activated with the normal truck fog light switch. I want to have to use an upfitter switch to put the fog lights themselves into their high setting. Otherwise you'll be toggling the fog lights off and on again every time you start your truck.

I will reach out to them directly now, but based on this pic:

It looks like the toggle & low beam function is just in that external box labeled "signature".
I bet if that is discarded and the other power input on that unit is wired into the upfitter switch then these will work how i'm describing.

Mine have shipped according to their update. Trident Motorsports in ATX will install them for me.

I’m fine with the way they function as purchased and delivered.

There are two boxes not one.

If you want to tamper with them and risk killing any manufacturers warranty after purchase, that’s on you not the manufacturer.🇺🇸
So after you have them installed can you cycle the high beams and see what the fog lights do for us?
The way it is described, every time the high beams come on the fog lights will turn off as per usual but this will cause the fog lights to change their settings when the low beams come back on because they have power cycled.
This may actually be not a big deal if the setting in Forscan is changed so the fogs don't cut off with the high beams.
It’s not a big deal at all; with the 4D Tech reprogrammer, it literally takes seconds to fix the issue. If you want to return it back to OEM just plug the programmer back in. Done!👍🇺🇸

No, you’re not getting this, you just need to read what was given to me by the manufacturer and not speculate on your own. “They will always default to low beam when the fog lamps are turned on, on period.”🇺🇸

Again as before; the aftermarket fog lamps are not designed to override the OEM function. The aftermarket fog lamps low/high beam functions are controlled by the fog lamp switch.

The OEM function which turns off the fogs when the high beams are on, won‘t change unless reprogrammed.

The OEM function is controlled by the ECU, BCM and CANBUS. The new fog lamps will not override the OEM function. This OEM function needs to reprogrammed thru the ODBII port, via the 4D Tech fog/reprogrammer or with the use of Forscan………https://www.4dtech.com/fogs-w-high-beams-programmer/. 👍🇺🇸
