I was all set to order a 26 in that color until they showed me an F150 in that color. Did not like it at all. Make sure you've seen a truck in real life in that color before you take delivery.
I was able to see both the 2017 F-150 Raptor in Avalanche Gray, as well as the current Gen, and I was very impressed with their appearance. I did a lot of research on the 2025 color options, but when I saw that Avalanche Gray would be available for the 2026 model year, I knew it would be my choice. πŸ™πŸΌ

Agreed. Ive liked my 2024 enough that im buying a 2026. Sticking with a ranger raptor. One of my favorite vehicles that I've owned. Fun, yet still practical and useful for the most part. Great bang for the buck, especially compared to the other raptor models or comparative vehicles from the other manufacturers.
I have bought way too many vehicles over the last 10 years, I am blessed that I can. I can say that the RR is a very special vehicle. I think we should get a window sticker saying "It's a RR, you wouldn't understand"

Phoenix has the worst car dealers of any big city that I’m familiar with. Total Clown World. Many now have a $995 doc fee. And most throw on β€œDesert Protection Packages” that amount to basic tint and door edge guards for $1,500.

Pro tip: Don’t do business with people who hate you.
Most Florida dealerships charge doc fees anywhere from $795 - $1295. They also charge "Regional market adjustment" and "Dealer installed options*" which are tough to negotiate away.

I traveled 50 miles away to get my '24 Ranger Lariat at a dealership that didn't add these charges. The only problem, of course, they don't negotiate on price.

*tint, VIN etching, pinstriping, etc

Someone will accuse Ford of offering β€œyet another gray” color. There’s a little truth in that, but AG has a really cool shimmer in person, with faint green undertones. Put AG next to Oxford White and it really pops.

The real problem with Ford isn’t all the grays β€” it’s the fact that the don’t offer the RR in any red or orange. Why they discontinued Code Orange I’ll never understand.

Waiting is the worst part.

So true lol! In my case, it's pretty important that this happens since I'm in the final stages of a buyback with GM on my ZR2. I'm hoping it finalizes just in time for the RR to get here lol

That's great to hear! I'm really looking forward to having a fun truck I can drive daily and take out on the desert out here! 🫑

You definitely got lucky. I secured the MSRP at $61,380, which included the bead lock wheels and the spray-in bedliner. Unfortunately, many dealerships in the Phoenix area are trying to add $5,000-$10,000 markups. That's quite a bit! Congratulations on your order! 🫑
and here i was getting mine under sticker for my '25 RR lol

I echo this sentiment along with Marsh Gray. We have a few other nice vehicles but driving the RR is an event every time, that's the best way I can descibe it.
