Spare tire

Another way of cost savings from Ford (short of deleting it) using a off brand.
I have never heard of that brand tire.

Atlas brand tires were somewhat popular as a house brand tire for small independent tire shops and gas service stations when that was a thing back in the 1980's and prior.

If you get the 4X4 off-road option, the spare is the same as the other tires. When my 2020 Ranger needed new shoes I only needed to buy 3 and used the spare which was the correct match. My 2024 4X4 off-road has again the same size as the other tires, 255/70R17 but the spare is a Crossroad tire and the other 4 are Goodyear Wranglers.

Not the case on Lariat 4x4. Road wheels 18", spare 17". But they are the same overall diameter.

My 24 lariat has 18" and a 16" spare. I'll have to check the size

Check your tire placard inside your drivers door. If it says 17" spare, Ford should give you the correct tire and wheel under warranty.

Resurrecting this a bit to ask a question. I have a '24 Lariat FX4, with 255/65/18 on the truck and a 255/70/17 as the spare. But sounds like some of you have 16" spares. Wonder why the difference. Do 16" not fit on a Lariat, or maybe this is 4x4 vs 4x2?

It may be whatever is available on the shelf. My 2024 Lariat 2wd had a 16 inch Spare with a hole in the sidewall. Dealer wouldn’t warrant it so I bought an 18 inch alloy Bronco take-off from Texas tire. It fits great and was only $125.
