You can use 4A in sports mode, but you have to select 4A manually while in sports mode. I try to stay out of sports mode as I get 12mpg in it as well as it could be extremely detrimental to keeping my drivers licence.
I took the Raptor out this evening, and I drove the same route.
I floored it in 2 wheel drive and then the same route in 4A…. WOW, what a difference….!!!

You're in the 330's at the rear tires. Imagine being me......

Yes all terrains aren't the best for hooking up. Transmission tuning makes a world of difference. Being able to use the power vs just spinning is awesome in these trucks.

No complaints, but this little beast really likes to spin the tires in Sport mode.
The BFG's don't seem to have much grip due to the 405 hp & 430 torque in the Sport mode... on dry roads and especially on wet roads.
I have had to adjust my throttle application with this great little Raptor.
My car has the same torque and over 100 more hp, but traction is no problem due to the sticky tires.... I think Post-It ® makes them!
The Bronco has 4.70 gears but the Goodyear Wrangler tires are never an issue with traction and the 2.7L.

Has anyone changed to a different tire that has better traction?

I want to remain in the Off-Road All Terrain tire group, but don't know if any other brands have better traction?
It's not that important, but just curious. I can put the eggshell under the foot and continue to enjoy this incredible truck... I LOVE this thing...!!!
Imma huge believer in the KO3! I ended up in some seriously sticky mud that was 3 to 4 ft deep and over a 1/2 mile long trail. Every time I thought I was gonna get stuck, I gave her the beans and it leaped out of the hole! Wasn't aired down and those tires just ate that mud with no issues!
