Just returned from a 17 day vacation and the truck's steering feels stiff. Also feels like it's dragging the brakes a little (feels sluggish). I don't think anything is wrong; more like I got used to driving the rental car. I've never experienced anything quite as dramatic after a trip though, so honestly questioning if it's me being exhausted post-trip or if something went wonky while I was away. Thoughts?

The electronic power steering on this particular truck is pretty heavy. I like it personally, but going from this to my wife's MDX is pretty jarring. A lot of people run the steering in comfort mode for a reason.

Thanks. That's probably it!

I chose an Audi A5 from the aisle at National thinking fun car to drive in the mountains, which it was, but ergonomics and infotainment was abysmal. Would not recommend. Also have a nice case of tendinitis in both elbows from installing the sound deadener and lifting our luggage for two weeks. Have any tips for that? Lol

I kind of like the heavier steering tbh...coming from an Outback XT where I could steer with one finger, the raptor feels more naturally 'correct' in default mode.

Sport is a little too much though.

How do you put it in comfort mode

Theres a button that controls steering feel in the right side cluster. Click the button and the modes show up in the center stack, click again to cycle through.

Me, I run in sport mode, prefer the heft in corners.
