This isnt all necessary. I tapped into door speaker and thats it. No loc. No unnecessary interior tear down. My results are good. No bass roll off. My bass goes up with the headunit volume all the way up til my ears say thats enough. Usually around 20. And to set gain. Youre hitting a desired voltage on the amp output with the
At 75% volume on headunit. So ya, your amp will put out the power you want thru the range.
Right, in my case, I didn't want to have to "tap" into any factory wiring.

Which wires and where did you tap for that?
Inquiring minds would love to know.
I tapped drivers side rear speaker. You can access these wires under front door sill trim just before the wires go up the b pillar and into the door.
The colours to tap are here.
Left rear speaker (base model) positive (+): gray/violet, negative (-): brown/green or brown/white
Right rear speaker (base model) positive (+): green/violet, negative (-): gray

To be confident I had the correct wires before cutting and splicing. I used a multimeter at the plug that goes into the door. I hit play and pause a couple times on a song so I could watch the voltage reflect my actions.

Boy, I LOVE music and a great sounding Stereo, my Acura MDX had a really nice one. The 2024 Lariat to me is ok at best and I have often thought of an upgrade, but i have zero knowledge on how to do these things myself

I am curious, if you upgrade the sub and power? the bass is obviously better but what about the speakers and tweeters? are they any good? why wouldn't you upgrade those to get your mid range and treble and separation alot better? or is this just an I want better Bass thing?

thanks for any insight

I feel ya. I had a 23' acura integra with the 16 speaker system. Sounded awesome. The first few listens in the truck were painful. I just finished adding sound deadening mat in the front doors and replaced the door speakers and tweeters in the a pillar. I'll probably do the back doors later. I'm pretty happy with the way it sounds now!
The sub alone really gives it more of a surround sound feel where before, it was 100% from the front.

I did. I replaced all my speakers with Infinity Primus components for the front and Infinity Primus 5 1/2’s for the rear.
