It’s getting out where my wife has had Some issues, but she says as long as she remembers it is higher she is ok.

i have no problem just going in backwards.

i have only owned small trucks my entire life even though they’ve been lower

And we are both in pretty good shape although not as young as we used to be

I like the lariat power seats that automatically move all the way back when you turn off the truck

that and the memory seats makes a big difference when you have vastly different size drivers.

I would try the ranger out without the running boards first and see what shakes out

I installed these drop steps from Rough Country on our Ranger STX; just another option to consider.

I have the same issue as @Atom!, and was thinking those hoops might be the answer. I drove a Nissan Frontier with those, and found I could exit the truck without touching either hoop (my left leg drops first, landing between the hoops).
