I haven’t used them myself, but we used to install a lot of them at a shop I worked at and people liked them a lot.

Buyer beware!
I installed kit #FRRGR on our ā€˜24 Ranger Lariat FX4. Was left with less than 1/4ā€ of space between Timbren and axle, resulting in a very rough ride when unloaded. It rides great when hauling a heavy load.
Contacted them, and they sent out shorter springs right away. Unfortunately they are the Timbren bump stops and won’t do me any good.
Emailed again yesterday to see if there was anything else they could do.
If they can’t find a solution we’ll have to go back to airbags.

After talking to Timbren and sending photos/measurements, came to the same conclusion that they would not fit.

Did the same with Sumosprings and ran into a similar issue. Sumo told me you can cut the spring shorter to gain clearance but could not "officially" recommend but know others who have done it.

Both either have very little clearance or are in contact when unloaded out of the box.

Just looking into Sumo now; any resolution or other solution found? I’m frankly baffled how you’d remove existing bump stops with minimal clearance much less install Sumos with 1/4ā€?

Funny, I just emailed Timbren today with a measurement of the gap between frame and axle. Which is 5ā€ on my vehicle btw. Hoping they will be able to ship me a spring that fits properly. I’ll update here when I hear back.

Removal / installation is easy once you jack up the rear enough. I used the trailer hitch as my jack point, raised the rear about a foot, then added blocking for safety. With a stock setup you can do the work without removing the wheels.
