I don't know much about this company other than I saw their website. It might be an option for you. www.peragon.com

One negative I can see is not being able to fold it with anything tall in the bed towards the front. But it would clear any rack system.
Thanks, watched a few reviews and not being able to fold when you have gear pushed fwd in the bed is an issue.

Suspect I’ll end up going with a retractable cover for clearance and downsides like that per folding.

Might have found a solution to my rack needs, along with tonneau.

This rack on Amazon and at various generic locations is basically a clone of Yakima Overhaul HD, but it's adjustable between 13.7" - 23" to help with loading skis/bikes in the down position and Kayaks in the up. It sits in size between the Overhaul HD 19"-30" (too tall) and the Fixed Yakima Outpost HD 13" (won't work for the Kayaks to clear cabin roof)

I'm going to wait till the Raptor arrives to confirm measurements of bed rails to cabin roof. Then I'll order a Retrax or similar with t-slot rails then measure again, suspect the rails add 1/4" to 1" which I can account for before I decide on the rack. Some napkin math makes me think the Outpost HD rack might actually work with 15' Kayaks on their sides.

Delays in the truck shipping only leads to ideal minds on this stuff.

This is pretty sick design. Never seen something like this before. They only have up to 23 Ranger though.

I talked to Peragon customer service two weeks ago, they didn't have a timeline for the 2024 Ranger yet and unfortunately don't have a t-slot option. I was looking at maybe trying to retrofit some universal t-slots into stake pocket adapters.

I have been looking at these in order to mount the rails low. I can use the t tracks on them to mount fork mounts or something inexpensive like the TOOENJOY bike carrier along with a roof top box if and when required

With a 15' kayak, why not do roof racks, center the kayak on the truck. Generally cheaper than the bed rack systems.

Because of other needs - ski box, the potential to put a pop up tent if we get tired of sleeping on the ground etc. The rack has worked out great along with the Retrax cover.

I carry the kayaks with Malone Seawings and found a good price on the Thule load stops that fit well.
