Hi, just bought a 2025 Ranger XLT crew. Looking for a topper and came across a matching color 5’ leer from a 2019 Ranger. Getting conflicting info, does anyone know, will the topper fit/work on the 2025 bed? Apologizes if this has been covered before. Thank you.

I’m sure they would, but it’s a few hours away, so trying to get an idea before I drive down there.

I test fitted my ARE MX yesterday. I had it on my 2022 and it fit perfectly on my 2025 except for the tailgate shroud. Once I have the bedrail blocks installed I'll post some pictures. I was quoted $140 for the shroud. I may just cut the current shroud edge off for now so I can mount it until I get it ordered.

Here it is, my 2022 ARE MX topper on my 2025. I had to trim the tailgate shroud and will replace it in the future.

Wow, I'm surprised it matches that closely.

I had a 2022 Ranger Screw with the ARE CX Evolve topper. Loved it.

The sales guy I used when I bought my 25 Ranger called his accessories guy, who said he had just tried to swap one and it didn't quite fit.

Not necessarily trusting that, I called the ARE dealer where I got the top from and asked them. They contacted ARE directly and were told there was a slight difference in sizes and it would be off approximately 2" - which is too much to hide. Then again, that's for that specific model topper.

I also did some googling and found some examples where they did indeed fit. So it might depend on the specific topper. Some may swap over cleaner than others.

I'll almost definitely buy one, but I'll probably wait a year. I don't NEED it like I did a few years ago before my daughter was driving and I was still coaching. I basically bought it at the time so I could leave softball gear in the back year round - dry and locked. I'm not coaching now and she has an SUV, so I don't NEED it, but I loved it.

The weight in the back is perfect, takes out a touch of the rake, will slightly improve MPG (I drive a lot), and it's nice to have dry, lockable storage with decent height.

Also, for anyone considering a top, I'd HIGHLY recommend getting windoors. It's a gamechanger to be able to open them and pull stuff in and out from the sides and be able to reach all the way up in the front of the bed. Then again, I think I was traumatized as a child after crawling in and out of my grandfathers truck bed 1,000 times to grab something that slid to the front. I can fell the ribs in the bed on my knees RIGHT NOW!
