Toughbed Spray In Liner Question

What are these plastic caps in the front of the bed for? (Red circles) I noticed Ford sprayed the liner over them.

Also, after 10 months of ownership I just found some insulation or shipping material between the cab and bed. SMH

You can use those for draining if you have a tonneau cover and the white piece has been discussed many times some take it out others leave it. It does cover one of the cab vents but doesn't impede the air flow. Me I just left mine doesn't hurt anything.

I cut the toughbed around the edges of the plugs once I learned they were removable plastic and drilled holes in them for the drain tubes from my retractable tonneau cover. That white thing made it difficult to run the drain tubes out without removing the plastic plugs. Once I removed the plug, I could push the drain tube around the white thing. I wondered what that was, as well.

That insulation was installed for sound deadening, taking it out your going to be driving a can full of marbles on dirt road.
