It was installed incorrectly, and I wouldn’t accept it. Lazy & sloppy. Also those openings were not pre-cut by Bedrug. It comes without any cuts. There’s a video on YouTube showing a proper install. Worth your while to take a look at it.

Lazy installers. Only take a couple mins. longer.
I installed my own just for this reason. Take it back and make them fix it correctly.
Hard to see but if you zoom in you can.

Yea, looks much better when installed correctly.
Looking at it, I am thinking I can probably fix it myself faster than I could drive it across town and argue with them about it.

I don't think they did a very professional job.
I installed mine myself and there were cut-outs on the back side of the Bed Rug material to cut for the lights and power panel.
They may not have wanted to remove the tie down brackets --- I did mine, but they had lock-tight on the threads and I stripped the heads on two of them getting then removed. I ended up buying 12 new bolts for the brackets.
I test fit the Bed Rug after I had removed the tie down brackets and used an all to find the bolt holes in the bed sides. I marked the holes with a marker and then removed the bed rug and used a leather punch to cut the bolt holes. I then wire brushed the lock tight off the new bolts and installed everything.
NOTE: you have to remove the lights and power panel to get the Bed Rug behind. And those bolt also have lock tight on them. There are more than enough velcro strips supplied with the kit to make everything fit tight.

Your post got me curious on my install. Was installed by Suburban Toppers in Denver... looks like a good install. I have been super happy with the rug and ARE topper installation by Suburban. Dan has excellent communication and service when I needed it.

This is definitely not the way mine was installed. It’s a little hard to see behind my Built Right Beside MOLLE panels, but I assure you the Bed Rug is neatly tucked UNDER all the trims!

Fixed mine today.
‘Took maybe 15-20min
Was right it, it worked out faster and easier to fix it myself then take it back in to have the topper dealer install it correctly.
