I got it when i washed my truck to begin with. Spraying the hose over that area got water into the trailer wiring harness receptacle and it always triggered that warning when water got inside.I have a new RR with about 1,500 miles on it. I've randomly been getting a trailer brake module fault message. Curious if anybody else has seen that problem and if/how it was fixed?
Thanks
What he said…I got it when i washed my truck to begin with. Spraying the hose over that area got water into the trailer wiring harness receptacle and it always triggered that warning when water got inside.
I now don't spray water straight on the cap when washing the truck and I'm more careful in that area and haven't had the problem since
I have the same issue. It doesn't seem to cause any problem so will have the dealer look at it when I take it in for service.I've gotten it several times, mine is a 11/24 build, just picked it up 4 weeks ago, was in the showroom floor. I got the fault literally driving it off the lot and then a few other times, I haven't really looked into the issue yet but will check the plug cover for water intrusion as I've taken it through a touchless car wash several times already and we had massive downpours for 8 hours on an out of state trip, so lots of water exposure.
