I'm really thinking it's going to be available early next year.

I really hope there is a SuperCrew with a 6’ bed configuration!!! Even if they would extend the WB to accommodate a 6’ bed, the overall length would still be shorter than a F-150 SuperCrew. I see a market for this configuration with the overland crowd and people like me who want the extra bed volume for WW kayaks and Mtn bikes who want to use the bed with the tailgate up so the hitch can still be used for bike racks and small trailers.

Here's a bit more info on the video clip.

Video: 2022 Ford Ranger Super Cab spied for the first time | CarAdvice

In the video (found at the end of this story), the camouflaged Super Cab sounds as if it's a turbo diesel engine mated to a manual transmission – suggesting it could be a revised version of the 2.2-litre four-cylinder currently offered in the entry-level extra-cab Ranger Hi-Rider.

Oh, suggestions of a MANUAL TRANSMISSION, hopefully not just for the Aussies.

Is it just me, or do the rear 1/2-doors on the SuperCab trucks look smaller than the current model?
I think (hope) it's just an affectation of the psychedelic wrap. But, it could be that there are no rear doors and flip-up/forward front seats instead; Bronco II style

Nah, there still is a seam, you can see it below and above the door. Size looks identical with the only difference being the window. Fingers crossed they just were lousy with the wrap and left it covering most of it.

I am pleased to finally see the Scab configuration on the 6G . Crossing my fingers that Ford offers the PHEV in that model.
I am of the same mind. Would you be willing to post a survey to see what others think as well? Maybe Ford will see it and consider our opinions ?

I am pleased to just see the 6G Scab. A rough guess for the 5G Model from looking at the Forums vehicles is say 12% Scab's to
88% Screw's.

If the take rate for the SuperCrew is 88%, I have to wonder what the percentage would be for a SuperCrew with a longbed (6’ box) if offered? For me that would be the best of both worlds without stepping up to a full-size.

I like the idea of a crew cab long bed, but I'm just worried it'd be too long. My current Ranger fits in our garage with about 2' to spare if I really tuck it in. The extra foot of length for a long bed would make it really tight in there and make getting the snowblower out in the winter a bugger. That said, the extra cargo room would be nice. Would be able to fit my fatbike in the bed without removing the front tire and fit our clam tent without having to wedge it in diagonally. I guess we'll see what the actual dimensions are, if it ends up being an option at all.
That is the main reason I want a longbed. I’m a Mtn biker and kayaker and want the longer bed so I can transport bikes and boats with the tailgate up. I still want to utilize the hitch for a bike rack or small camper trailer.

Based on the current Ranger wheel base (126.8”) and length (211”) it would still end up being shorter than a F-150 SuperCrew with a 5 1/2 bed if they added a foot the the WB (138.8”) and length (223”). The F-150 has a 145.4” WB and overall length of 231.7”. That would make the F-150’s WB +6.6” and overall length +8.7”. Again, hypothetical numbers for perspective.

My sighting in Denver early April near airport trying to get out before snowstorm. Driver of the mule said they were trying to get over the pass. The other 2 trucks were all ready gone. This was before I realized I was getting a Ranger. Pretty sure it’s Ford but some Dodge grills are close. Driver wouldn’t confirm.

Nice spot but I think those are Dodges. And the lights / grille don't match the Ranger prototypes.
