If you want gas struts for hood you will have to get that aftermarket, this comes with a prop rod

So funny question….did your hood prop come with the plastic holder?? Mine certainly didn’t

My prop rod just flops around in the engine bay

QC at it's best I would get the dealer to order one for free.

For sure. I’m gonna leave my hood shut until the replacement part comes in because once it’s unlatched, the hood takes an inappropriate amount of force to close.
