Curios what the appeal is for that kind of poke that a -12 offset is going to create.
I mean even aside from looks , DOT legalities etc.

I am thinking that looks is really very subjective , but the amount of paint damage that comes with that sort of stance has got to be pretty extensive in a short period of time.

Currently waiting for the Fender Flares that will help with that... and TBH.. no real issues so far and it has been several months, they actually do not stick out as far as you would think.

Not sure how/why the DOT would be concerned for offset.. I see trucks raised that have ridiculous height and tires 2x the size of the ones I have and can drive legally with no issues...

To each their own...

yea some fender flairs should help a lot.

‘The DOT thing only seems to get selectively enforced in certain regions of the country .
Like in PA and with Youtuber Streetspeed 727. He use to get stopped on a regular bases and ticked for his truck‘s tires sticking out past fenders. His setup was really over the top pretty easy picking for region that is know for enforcing such laws .

its a state deal, the tires versus the flares.

i have -10 offset with 265/65/17 and they stick out a little bit too. not anything that will bother me but i am glad that the tires are a bit wider then the wheels because i misjudged the width in the drive through and rubbed the tires a bit on the curb
