Who will order without seeing in person and test driving first?

yeah, I pre-ordered an XL with a bed and tow package + rear diff lock options. Just wanted to cover my bases in case sales went crazy and use the $750 incentive Ford sent me that was to expire July 5th. Now we know (non Raptor) sales are lukewarm and no danger of not being able to order at a later date if/when the SCab + 6' bed configuration option comes back. Also seeing the exact same thing happening with delayed production start, pause on scheduling- that happened with my Maverick purchase I went and cancelled my order.

Ordered a Shelby GT500, Maverick XLT FX4 Ecoboost and now a Ranger Raptor; all before even sitting in one. First two have been great and expect the Ranger Raptor to be my next daily driver.

I went against everything I've said prior to today and ordered a Lariat FX4 w/ tow package yesterday. Oh well.

My dealership said I was the first ranger order in their books AND they've had no one get in line for the raptor and there will be no ADM. Very surprising as I live in the suburbs of a rather large metro area.

No ADM is not a huge surprise with this model. If the rumors are correct and the non-Raptors aren’t being ordered in big numbers an ADM would be a poor business practice. Now if demand increases I can see that changing. I am going to wait until the 2.7 is available and reevaluate depending on cost. It’s a want not a need so time will tell. I will probably be looking at what you ordered but with the 2.7 if it’s available. Good luck and best wishes with your new Ranger.

I ordered my Ranger Raptor as soon as they let me with a very small ADM because I’m tight with my dealer. I also bought my 18 Shelby Raptor without sitting in it first, but already have a 13 Shelby Baja700 Raptor, and knew I wanted a 2nd gen Shelby to add to the growing Shelby collection. Honestly the only vehicle I ever test drove was our 21 Jeep JL, but was gonna buy it even without test driving it anyways.
