Winding/Buzzing noise from Underneath Shifting Column

Hi, I just purchased a new 2025 Ranger Raptor and there is a weird buzzing/winding sound coming from underneath the shifter. It happens both when the vehicle has the engine on, or when the engine is off but electronics are on. It happens every 8 seconds or so.

Anyone have insight on what is causing this?

That is really not normal - I would bring to your dealer

There is a actuator in there that will put it in park if you forget
There might be a problem with that.

The dealership is telling me they are replacing the entire shifter. Don’t know if this will resolve it or not
