Just posting in case people are on the hunt for stuff like this. Im happy with the results!
Lights:
The lights feel really solid and I think have a good look, the brightness is impressive for their size. Obviously there are fancier lights out there but turns out Im not a millionaire and overall I think they are a really good price. My only gripe is the covers look a little cheap (because they are just plastic clip-on things).
Wiring them up was pretty straightforward, they go straight to battery and just a toggle wire goes to your built-in switch wire. The only thing worth noting here was that they dont seem to work without the included toggle switch:
which obviously you dont need / want on a RR, so I just left it off and bypassed the switch connecting the red to yellow in the switch harness. Now it works perfectly with the built-in switches.
(I properly secured this after the pic)
Brackets:
Im happy to report that these brackets are rock-solid. My biggest concerns with finding a bracket was a) it getting to close / touching the hood and b) bouncing while driving. I have 0 of those issues, as you can see clearance is good and even at highway speeds in crazy crosswinds recently up near Mammoth Lakes, there was no bounce at all. They were very easy to mount, just be careful to keep your hood where it was when both bolts are loose. Once secured they doent affect the hood position/closure at all.
One issue is there might be a slight variation in the angle of the L vs R brackets but in practice it is not noticeable on the truck.
Again, I think the price is really good (theres a big range out there)...
Hope this helps someone with their own choices! Of course im happy to try and answer any questions.
