I have the same impression of the 2.3L it's pretty quick. I think people should test drive one before ordering the 2.7L
I did test drive the 2.3 then bought the 2.7 :)
I’ll add that I was in no way disappointed with the 2.3. Sure, I could feel it idle and I didn’t love the sound, but I’d be quite happy with it. But the tough part about a test drive, even a good one, is it doesn’t reflect how I’ll often use the truck, which is to say I didn’t pull a 5,000 pound trailer over a mountain pass where I’ll have it wide open throttle for extended periods. TFL did a towing test of the 2.3 and it did great, but I suspect under such circumstances the differences between the two engines will be more noticeable.

All the Cam Phaser Failures on the 2.7 and 3.0 turned me off. The Bronco Forum is full of trucks that have less than 3000 miles with the engines being taken out of them. There is still no fix for this part issue. Its been going on for years. Im not signing up for that. I hope you have good luck with yours.

After ditching my "almost built" never -going-to-arrive-order, and getting almost exactly what my order was from dealer stock (including color), I am happy to say that I have zero negative issues to report. I do see the tiny tailgate issue on the passenger side, but that gap is so tiny that I'd never have noticed it if not for this forum. A few software bugs in Apple Car Play (When voice messaging, doesn't return to music), but those will get fixed easily in software updates. Drives beautifully; in sport mode, the 2.3 hauls, and it's simply a beautiful truck. Happy as hell.
Truth, I’m at 10k miles and have had zero major or minor issues with three out of state trips, mpg road trip high 26.1, avg 22. Radio connection is my only rub.
