I'm trying to understand the communication antenna. Is that for like a CB radio? and the 10mm mounting hole, is that a hole through to the engine compartment?

Thanks

Yes! So most people would be utilizing this for their CB radio setups. The 9.5mm center hole would be utilizing NMO style antennas and the two 5.5mm holes would be utilizing VHF, UHF, and HAM style antennas. For running wires, I am sure there are a few different ways you could do it but for me personally I would run the wire from the radio itself through the firewall and to the mounting location.

I love mine! Went with the driver side comms as I’ll eventually get a radio of some sort. They’re also pretty low profile which is nice to keep the lights blended in a bit more and out of your view. I had a few pieces of AAL gear on my Gladiator and am glad they make Ranger gear as well! All super well built and looks great. I’ll get some better shots this afternoon.

Yes, as I understand each side bolts under the hood hinge bracket using the factory bolts(pair)

Correct, and word of advice if install any A pillar lights, do one side at a time so you don’t have to mess with realignment of the hood. It’s not fun.

Not so much interested in the lights, mainly looking for a way to mount a CB antenna.
Do the lights or antenna hit the windshield when the hood is open?

here’s the gap with the hood open, and with a pole sitting flush on the mount. Eyeballing it, it won’t get anywhere near the windshield
